The radio crackled to life as the boat bounced in the current. “It’s a hot one out there today folks,” said the DJ on the radio. “So find some shade and stay cool!”

And that’s exactly what Lainey and her friends were doing... they were staying cool! Even grumpy Gator was slipping into the cold water.

“Hit it!” Lainey shouted from the inner tube as her friend Mimi hit the throttle. “Woo-hoo, let’s get some air.”
